Este estudio analiza el primero realizado en la materia en 2011 y que concluyó que cerca de 6 millones de conductores en España circulaban con problemas visuales y, de estos, 1 millón ni siquiera debería conducir. El informe afirma que existe una relación directa entre mala visión y accidentalidad: aquellos conductores con mala visión (0,4 de agudeza visual, por debajo del mínimo legal) tienen tres veces más accidentes que el resto de conductores.
